Flare Inc. raises JPY 200 million to expand "DDash", its AI-powered next-generation driver dispatch service in Thailand

Flare Inc. (Head Office: Tokyo; CEO: Kazuki Kamiya) announced that it has raised a total of JPY 200 million through a third-party allotment of shares to existing shareholder CARTA VENTURES Inc., new investor STATION Ai Central Japan 1 Investment Limited Partnership, and individual investors.

”DDash”: a fast-growing AI x mobility business in the Thai market

“DDash” (https://drive-z.co/en/), operated by Flare’s group company DriveZ, is the only driver dispatch service in Thailand that uses a mobile app and AI. In just one year since the service launched in 2024, it has been adopted by more than 70 companies, mainly Japanese and local firms. Its service area has also expanded from Bangkok to major industrial regions such as Chonburi, Rayong and Korat. By digitalizing professional driver services for local executives and expatriates, which had mostly been managed on paper, and making attendance management, operations management and safe-driving evaluation visible, it has earned strong support.

By further leveraging the mobile app and AI, DDash detects anomalies across the entire process, from the scheduled pickup time through the wake-up call, departure, travel and arrival check, to prevent lateness and no-shows. It has also built an operations management system that can automatically arrange a backup driver without missing the scheduled time, even in the event of sudden sick leave or an accident.

The company has built and operates DDash on the foundation of “Flare Dash” (https://flare-dash.com/en/), an attendance and operations management solution for field workers that supports on-site operations and has been adopted in more than 10 countries worldwide, and “Flare Analytics” (https://flare-analytics.com/en/), a driving behavior analytics solution that visualizes drivers’ driving behavior using only a smartphone.

Use of proceeds

The funds raised will be allocated to the following areas.

  • Business development and strengthened sales, centered on Thailand
  • Promotion of M&A of businesses with high synergy

Through these, we will further accelerate the realization of Flare’s mission, “A platform that builds the future of professional drivers.”
